Epilepsy: Pitolisant's Promising Early Phase II Study Confirms the Interest of SynapCell's Approach to AED Discovery

The recent clinical data obtained with a new antiepileptic drug (AED) candidate called pitolisant, developed by Bioprojet, in an early Phase II study [1] confirms the interest in SynapCell’s strategic approach, associating animal models and EEG, as a translational marker of brain’s function. Moreover, it validates the relevance of our animal models for drug discovery in EpilepsyGAERS and MTLE mouse.
